Do I say I care about points????. No but just to change a system so drastically without any explanation and ii such a unilateral way does not leave me with a good feeling now. I am all for the future but there is also something like consultation, explanation and caring for its users as this is an issue many users care about!.

If you would ask the staff or wait a bit answers would come. Also this was talked about a while ago as something being changed. So there is your consultation.

If the rep points can be so arbitrarily wiped from your profile, like the few thousand I've earned over the last couple of years,why bother having them?

WOW! Holy *CHIT* My rep points went from 5,000+ to 26! Do I feel worthless, or what! Or did somebody just decide to take away all the points and start us over from scratch? I'm not too "sussed" about it - but it sure was an amazing change!
