 idk if anyone else noticed the new site feature or features im nt sure if theres more then one, but kat has added user color and rep to torrent names. also many users r missing rep points and that all can b explained here Your text to link here...

  If they are gonna change the points system then you should keep the points you've earned through uploads and actually leaving feedback on other people's hard work and then use the new points system and rules from today onwards.    If the rep points can be so arbitrarily wiped from your profile, like the few thousand I've earned over the last couple of years,why bother having them? i agree rep-points = candy for kids it`s BS . i actually think it`s an absolute joke when i see someone who has helped out so many members here SirSeedsAlot52857 488 489 left with f**k all. it`s a sad reflection of a lame and broken system period. Because if you ask seeds like many he doesn't care about the points. People already know what he does. I am as cool as a cucumber and it is obvious to me you cannot read or do not understand the point I am making. For me it is not about the points itself but the way this has been implemented without any explanation. For a site that uses the word 'share' a lot they certainly are not keen on sharing with its users the reasons why they have implemented this new system. They also did not share with us any explanation why every one was zero balanced and how it all works ( please do not refer to that blog as it says nothing). Me too. i've at present had my points changed from -14 to +14 and I've uploaded 51 torrents! How does that work out. It makes newbies think even tho I'm a VUL there's something not right and I believe makes the statuses given look dubious!
Thanks utd4life I find that irrating when i am downloading I usually go of the rep of uploaders and the comments left by other dl's but if Ul's have beg rep's and Dl's don't get points for commenting some may not bother commenting so torrents may become worthless as people will be less sure which ones they can trust,

Seems pointless commenting on the quality of the torrents on the site : ) Although I'm not too fussed about the rep points, I do agree with you about commenting on torrents. I give good feedback on EVERY torrent I d/l, I think its only right and proper, and will continue to do so. However, the points you got were maybe incentive for some lazy users to actually give feedback.

The feedback people leave etc so you can actually weigh up if a torrent is good before downloading if there's not many seeds etc. It's ridiculous that I've left hundreds of items of feedback and no points show up but I get points for pressing +1 on someone's comment. This system encourages spammers to just +1 comments and not leave feedback. I'll still leave feedback coz as an uploader I appreciate the effort people go to to do it and therefore appreciate the feedback on my torrents
