sorry to hear about your gpu card purchase. try to speak with someone from tiger direct about your order to sort things out. I thought it was already in route to you a few days ago.
i know its weird. one day it says its stuck, then the next says you'll get a refund, then the next says since its a back order, there might be a problem. dang.
similar thing with my fedex delivery of my ordered flexi SLI bridge. took 3 days to get from the original date that I was to get it to where i am.

Yeap made my mind up on my GPU. I won't say anything more. BUT, will post pics once I got the majors all in. cpu and ram are in. gpu and mobo and psu and casing on shopping list. I could not thank all of those who gave info and gave out their thoughts and all. thanks also for comin in to the scene.
I was hoping to see myself using ATi but at this moment, I don't see myself doing business with them yet. Maybe someday they can come up with a revolutionary GPU or at least a GPU that will superseed or trump nVIDIA. BUT for now, nVIDIA is the king of the hill. and my business stays with them.

to me, it doesn't matter if i took long enough to build up something. as long as it is what exactly i expected it to be. thats better compared to having to look at something everyday in regret. know what i mean?

took a bottle of red wine vinegar today. it was marked down twice. 2/3's of it's price. Guess what! it expires next month. SNAP!
i'm heading back to where i bought it, tomorrow. to straighten them out, with calmness of course, but with just a tad bit of a tiny sting in my words. maybe.

i am looking only at the gtx680 and the gtx590 nvidia gpu's.

now that i have made up my mind to purchase from nvidia. already bumped-off my ati radeon choices.

X79 mobos are... well, defining themselves in terms of PCIe 3.0 compatibility right now. They say it PCIe 3.0 compatible, but it’s a troubled implementation.

However, the only important thing to know is that there is no difference in performance between PCIe 2.0 and 3.0 when running with one or two GPUs.
BTW, the sockets are identical so they will fit.

Wish I had a little time, but in a rush again. My wife helped me outside 3-4 days ago, and I made it around 20 minutes b4 coming back in. Felt GREAT!!! Problem is with scholl starting,), She's been too busy to do it again.

For anybody with the spare change, NVIDEA is the ONLY way to go, right now I'm just stuck at an AMD budget. Not Long, Maybe,Hopefully? Suggest You do some research on hooking up more than two monitors though. I'll try to find the link to the NVIDEA.com solution page, but the servers always been too overloaded for me to get through.

My MOMs gonna hit 82 this coming Q4, and She's getting pretty senile. Her 27 incher blew out in a lightning storm, My Brother bought her a little 19" w/ built in DVD, but She couldn't see it where She sits. She Ain't gonna move. Looks out Her front door straight across the street to MINE..LOL.. So that's bout the time I bouth the Regza 46 for My KIds to use twith the Kinect. Then I gave Her My Old 27"er.

Needless to say when You live next to Interstate High Power trans lines,,another strike took that one out last Month. My wife rehooked the 19 for Her but She's having too much trouble using it with the memory lapses. Now I've gotta clean up the ol Sunyou 21" and give it to Her. Gonna miss it for sure. Things capable of anything a new 2d Tv can do, but the remote interface is Maw-Maw proof. Just power off, power on, and no matter where you were at in the menu, It'll bring it bact to TV Mode.

New Macbook Pros use NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M and work just as well.
