Hiya everyone,

I'm bored as hell and just wondering the forums whilst listening to some tunes. Thats when I noticed thsi forum. Now like most I'm not here just for the banter, I get movies from here like a big percentage of people.

Now as sort as groovy as it is that whilst your short of money you still get to watch some good stuff, I find there needs to be a limit on what should be pirated. I mean books man. Books are what should be able to last through history on paper, not be eliminated if a glass of water spills onto your puter.

I don't know if I'm putting this across properly at all. I just felt so depressed when I discovered books could be pirated.

For those that do it, do you feel its just as good as the real thing or are you not that sentimental about books?

Maybe it could be in free speech..
But I have to say I love the real deal. I love the feeling and the smell of a book. Reading on a screen ain't the same at all. :-/

it took me a while to get used to my Kindle. Now eInk displays are the only way i can really get into reading. These devices let you bookmark pages, take notes, and define works instantly. And I feel so pretty and like Captain Picard in Star Trek!!

I'm sorry but I don't agree. I love my Kindlelovelinesslovelinesslovelinessloveliness
I never really liked reading that much until I got my kindle but now I rarely watch Tv anymore. I tend to read most of my spare time and atleast 75% of this is on my kindle. I've turned into a major bookworm at the age of 28biggrinbiggrinbiggrin

Yeah.
Thanks for moving it to the right place by the way.
I dunno. I just think somethings should be left untouched. Like to leave the innocence of it away from the rest of the crap that gets ripped off or tainted.
Dunno. I'm either a hypocrit or just not seeing it from the other point of view.
being rigid and inflexible is cool too!! I miss burning witches. Ahhhhh the good old days!!

Most ppl prefer an actual book to an e reader, but the weight and space they can take up can be an issue when on holiday/travelling etc.
