 please support this idea when it comes out of draft...
General Discussions should be renamed so it`s more obviously for torrent related threads to stop members creating threads in the wrong place. everything from baking cakes to catching crabs is wrongly posted in here it would be nice just to have one section of the forum reserved for "torrent people" that`s not filled with trash. Free Speech should be renamed "General Discussions" and moved to the top of the forum as it seems most threads created by kat members should be posted here and are posted wrongly. surely this is a no brainer.... 20 replies before
 I always though general discussion thread was for....well...general discussion hinting that if it is general and being discussed it should be in there, it doesn't matter if it is on the technical differences of linux to windows os's or if root beer is better or cream soda is better. [I'm a cream soda fan.] I myself as well as many others go through there and "clean" forums out sometimes daily, my thought is that if you just switch the names around you will still have people posting things everywhere.I have even found torrent requests in Copyright Issues.

That is precisely why the threads should be more clearly named. You thought General discussions was for general discussions because it is poorly named. The thread actually has the words Everything related to the torrents world is discussed here written underneath but most people do not see it because the text is not displayed as clearly as the misleading heading. It doesn’t help either that Free Speech which is actually where general discussions should take place is positioned much further down the page.
. As for people still posting in the wrong threads even if these changes are implemented, I am sure some will, but this would I think vastly reduce the amount of work people have to do moving threads into the places they ought to be. If for instance the thread that is presently called General discussions was called something like Torrent Talk it would be pretty hard to mistake it for anything other than what it is.  please support this idea when it comes out of draft...
