HOW MANY SQUARES?

How many can you see in this ... keep seeing it so thought I would share it with my KAT Family.

ok here's the answer... 40 ... and here's why

just had a re-count and now i think theres 40

16 little squares
9 2x2 squares
4 3x3 squares
8 small squares in middle.
2 squares in middle, made up of 4 small squares
1 big square
