I'd give you a link to scrapebox, but apparently nobody has cracked it in the last year
so I'll just say, if you can find it, it's an amazing tool
meanwhile back in my evil lair, I'll be cracking it hopefully for everyone

COMODO Firewall is a really good and powerful free firewall solution, setup is really easy and it lets you clearly see what connections are coming to and from your comp and block any nastiness :)

I have a single core CPU, 1G of ram, 200 G HDD so I'm able to download the current softwares but 1 core is not, by today's standards, a fast working cpu so for me Comodo was simply an annoyance that was slowing down my old piece of junk (bought in 2005 and never made any hardware changes at all) so all the softwares suggested in here are good I'm sure but for me would simply be a software to slow down my already slow crap......

CURR PORTS is a tcp/ip port monitoring software that let's you see all active ports, what is connected to them (Name of program and the address), and if they are just listening or transferring data. I consider it a must for anyone who uses P2P or IRC protocols as they tend to leave certain ports wide open to anybody that knows how to exploit them. CCUR PORTS allows you to see every individual connection and monitor or close the connection. It highlights suspicious connects. Physically chack for any spy or tracking address that are known( plenty of regularly updated lists).

Ever seen an random image online some where and really wanted to no more about the person, subject matter, place, ect. in the picture well THIS Chrome extension, with one click, will search millions of websites and produce a link page to every website that the image appears on.
Just right click any image. Select "Search Image on Tinyeye". And viola.

my fave is xpadder
carpalled my wrist a few months ago so now i have mouse and a bunch of keyboard functions routed through a 360 controller.
makes for sweet recliner browsing.
