In recent times i'm seeing A LOT of people abusing this system, I'll explain a little..

After you have uploaded 20 torrents (Newbies don't bother within 1 month) you can apply for a Verified Uploader status. Verified Uploaders get all their uploads automatically verified, listed on special KickassTorrents upload page and in addition get protection from an accidental deletion due to a mod mistake.

As you know this is the rule/s for applying but i will not acccept ANYONE who just randomly upload 20 torrents like a crazed man on a mission! or an angry housewife..

(Most popular thing i see) some of you don't even seed the torrent or you have all 20 going at once... (pending on fast connections and seedboxes, 20 might not be a problem) but lot of you are not interested because you want the VU status..

•What we are looking for is a good space between uploads that are somewhat seeded.

•A mix of your own work and maybe a torrent or two from elsewhere that is NOT listed here at KAT (be sure to give props to original uploader and do not retag or duplicate another)

•Comments on your uploads is a good sign but not really a hassle.

•Step into the forum and make a Release Thread in the Releasers section again not really a hassle but it does HELP you to get notice... Here
ed]Boobsman-SuperMod - I also look at time on site, too many people upload the 20 torrent minimum within a day or 2 and expect to get VUL status straight away, this is not how it works. Verified status needs to be earned, you need to be able to show that you can follow the rules n that means time on site, replying to questions and not getting into trouble! ~
So at the end of the day i'm basically saying and being polite about it.. Knock off the 20 quick uploads, there's plenty of time to become a verified uploader. just get settled a bit, don't rush...

The next person who asks for verifaction to me via PM and has done a quick snatch of torrents.. and has not read this... i will ban them... day after day after day.... sick of it..

well im new and ill try me best to do a few at a time im not worried a bout the status im just wrooied i do things right and there appriciated
ive just uploaded my first one to day
but its hard to upload things that are alteady been upped
but its all good and thanks to all the peole and staff for the dedicated time

Bump... just got a few peeps asking for VU...
they seem to have missed the 1 month part....
Peeps don't rush the 20 uploads..

I have over 20 torrents uploaded yet I'm denied the status of 'Verified Uploader'. All my torrents that I have kept on my account have at least 1 seed. I've deleted a few uploaded torrents in the past due to either losing the files (can no longer seed) or the file I've uploaded has been incorrect/misleading.


I've had to pester KAT staff to verify my uploads for me, and when they do, the popularity of that torrent goes up.


So, who wants to verify me? haha.
