In recent times i'm seeing A LOT of people abusing this system, I'll explain a little..

After you have uploaded 20 torrents (Newbies don't bother within 1 month) you can apply for a Verified Uploader status. Verified Uploaders get all their uploads automatically verified, listed on special KickassTorrents upload page and in addition get protection from an accidental deletion due to a mod mistake.

As you know this is the rule/s for applying but i will not acccept ANYONE who just randomly upload 20 torrents like a crazed man on a mission! or an angry housewife..

(Most popular thing i see) some of you don't even seed the torrent or you have all 20 going at once... (pending on fast connections and seedboxes, 20 might not be a problem) but lot of you are not interested because you want the VU status..

•What we are looking for is a good space between uploads that are somewhat seeded.

•A mix of your own work and maybe a torrent or two from elsewhere that is NOT listed here at KAT (be sure to give props to original uploader and do not retag or duplicate another)

•Comments on your uploads is a good sign but not really a hassle.

•Step into the forum and make a Release Thread in the Releasers section again not really a hassle but it does HELP you to get notice... Here
ed]Boobsman-SuperMod - I also look at time on site, too many people upload the 20 torrent minimum within a day or 2 and expect to get VUL status straight away, this is not how it works. Verified status needs to be earned, you need to be able to show that you can follow the rules n that means time on site, replying to questions and not getting into trouble! ~
So at the end of the day i'm basically saying and being polite about it.. Knock off the 20 quick uploads, there's plenty of time to become a verified uploader. just get settled a bit, don't rush...

you stopped!... then 2 over a week to get to VU level.. who says you won't upload after getting VU????
Upload a few more get active, get verified.. i see users all the time hit 20 and stop.. then i usually take their VU away anyway, because they don't care after the VU...

I upload when I feel like I have something worth uploading, I don't just upload for the sake of statistics.


If I really wanted to boost my total uploaded torrents just to get VU status, I would upload individual songs instead of albums ;)

I don't have anything worth uploading as of yet :P I might create another 'Rap Collection' torrent of my favourite songs and upload that but I doubt people would download it :P

It shows you have 5 and they aren't active torrents. No seeds.

ok ACTIVE DLs, gotchya. KAT has always been kinda wonky about the stats of my Torrents. I have uploaded more than 20 Torrents over time, I'll keep uploading more then.
