Video format quality question.06 August 2012, 10:04 (9 months ago)
Just have a few questions
1. what is bdrip or brrip? 2. Is it better than blue ray or 720? 3. Also most bdrip/brrip are in mkv/mp4 format but this movie is in avi but it says quality detected bdrip what does that mean? 4. Last but not least some movies in mp4 format say 720 brrip/bdrip in the titile but quality detected says dvd or hd why is that? 10 replies before

So is there a program/software that can tell you what quality of media you have? http://mediainfo.sourceforge.net/en hey what's this one then, bubs??

Torrent: Best.In.Show.2000.720p.BRRip.XviD-SilentKitty2 i wanted to DL it but some comments confused the issue Thats exactly what i'm talking about.. the description says bugger all about it.. being a 720p i'd say it would be 1280x720 and then take the black bars away it would be more 1280x5?? it confuses people seeds... in that case "1280" is important...normally encoders bring out 1280x544 or something close to it..so that the quality doesnt degrade much..that belongs to 720p..similarly 1080p relates to "1980" width..width is very important to height...
some get confused..but i seriously doubt that torrent..to know actual result, one have to download it..no other go.. I just go with trusted uploaders, first priority YIFY341890 , trust their info in description......and I prefer "BRRip 720p/1080p x264" mostly and if no choice then "DVDRip XViD" and for that FXG is good one and then ETRG's "BRRip XViD" are also fine..but I think it's not your answer :P
and yeah .mkv and .mp4 are my choices :) |
