i got railroaded at work today, well first off i work in the home healthcare field, i help with the day to day living of mentally handicapped. last week i trained a fill in for my position, then he made false accusations to my boss about me, got me fired and took my position. the worst part is i didnt even get to give my side of the story they just took his words as gold. i guess im just mad and wanted to get my frustration out thanx for listening. That works the same way in FLA. If an ex employee files for unemployment the State agency will contact the employer to get that reason. And BTW I pay pretty much money to the state to cover unemployment insurance. An employer it trying to make money. If an employee is not helping to that end, the employer probably would let the employee go. If the employee is helping to make a profit, the employer would be crazy to let a productive employee go But some may be biased for god knows why.
