Do you find some things so annoying that you could scream?

So do I and here's one from me.

If I'm in the pub reading my paper and having a nice pint and then decide to go to the bog or outside for a smoke the dumb barmaid somehow thinks I've gone and steals my beer.

This has happened more than once in my local and I've gone nuts.

When ppl try to shove their religion down my throat. Then when I tell them I'm a witch, they back away and tell me that they'll pray for my soul. I then say, "Please don't. I'm having a bad enough day as it is."

The multitude of reality shows on Aussie TV right now - including X-Factor, I Will Survive, Master Chef, Don't Tell The Bride, The Living Room, etc.

What happened to decent shows and movies?

Nutcrackers only come out during Christmas...why? Do you fear their wooden soldier armies invading your other holidays? Personally, I'd want one standing guard in case that turkey becomes a zombie. Nutcrackers for all holidays!

What annoys me are moderators that have just gotten the power to do KAT's work and feel they must prove themselves to whomever by deleting post after post, because they are "offensive to women", even though other moderators above them have not said a thing about the same posts (and some have even +1)...I hope this post doesn't get deleted because it's offensive to a moderator on his/her high horse.

EDIT: It also annoys me that you can't tell which post was removed, so you may fix it and when you ask about it, you are simply given a link to the KAT rules. I know I haven't been here nearly as long as some other users and maybe I don't have the right to rant like I am. If a post hasn't been reported, how can one person without a sense of humor and a huge sense of empowerment, be allowed to take it down?

Mods have the power to enforce the rules, and that's exactly what was done. There's no issue with new...this was discussed with me.
And I know what to do and the rules to do it with.
What was done was exactly right.

I understand what you are saying, as you and had a discussion not long ago...I will leave it at that.

There is a rule about not arguing with mods in public and that post is pretty much arguing with mods in public. :)~

The rules are partly what makes KAT a great site.....

Because they have been trusted with the power by site staff and admins. If you have issue with a particular mod, take it up the ranks and it will get hashed out. If mods are guilty of consistently abusing their power, they won't be mods long.

This isn't a Pub. Or even your living room. You don't get to just say anything that pops in your head. I am as likely as anybody to make a smart*ss comment. Probably more so. But I know full well in doing so it might be removed. Is it really that big a deal? Or is it just your pride that is a little hurt?. It's a website brother. At the end of the day, does a comment you made on it really matter at all?
