I have tried Media Player Classic, Windows Media Player, VLC Media Player, Cyberlink Power DVD and Arcsoft TotalMedia theater 5.
I can tell you that the clear winner is VLC. Media Player Classic and total media theater are not bad too. I still have totalmedia player installed to read blu-rays but if VLC could read blu-rays normally, i would uninstalled total media theater for sure. You can google it too. You will find professional review that put VLC at the number one spot. 1st - KMPlayer = all codecs included and way more options for extreme fine tuning of audio and video.
2nd - VLC = all codecs included and a bunch of options but not as many as KMP. 3rd - MPC = comes with K-Lite Codec Pack or CCCP and can play all the common formats so long as the files are not corrupted in the slightest. Last edited by tNe20136, 9 months ago |

OMG it is really a land slide victory for VLC. I was sure it would win but not by this kind margin.
