3/10. The more I find out about computers, the less I realise that I know. The world of computers is changing so fast that it's difficult to keep up. Google and forums are very good for giving me solutions to problems.

3 atm I seem to forget at a quicker pace then what I take in these days. Have probably met a few in the 7-8 range...scary..

@Jay, seriously a ten? I would probably give myself 8.5, I am 16 years old and I know all this, starting with hardware, I can assemble a PC, install RAM, Hard drive, put in graphic cards, sli-crossfire, tweaking and tinkering etc. As for software, I know C, C++, C#, BASIC, Visual BASIC, Java,Python and objective C, in web development I can work on HTML, and Mysql, presently enhancing my MySQL and PHP skill, a bit of photoshop and flash too. As for robotics, I can fabricate PCBs, I have done considerable work on microcontrollers, built robots, made algorithms, mainly atmel boards, arduino, Robot C, Java for robots and NXT-G. I can work up Linux. A bit of hacking, brute force, wifi stuff. My troubleshooting is pretty good. I have considerable amount of knowledge of networking, server infrastructures and implications. I built a hackintosh too. I have been doing artificial intelligence and artificial neural networks lately. I bit of animation too, Maya mainly. Other than that, I blog, visit my blog, http://shauryachopra.wordpress.com, and there is a lot more to me than computers.

I decided to give myself an 8, because I'm just that awesome. Seriously though, I build, overclock, constantly tweak and trouble shoot, etc...Plus I'm the I.T. guy at work.

I'd say 7. I'm familiar with all the hardware, been studying for the A+ exam, have built a few computers, and am very familiar with OS's, software, security, and networking.
I say 7 because I'm not totally familiar with MACs and even though I know a lot about hardware, I probably couldn't fix an actual problem, though I could easily just replace the problematic component.

I rate myself 10 because I've been writing software for 30 years and professionally for 20 odd. I use loads of different languages on different platforms and can build websites using tech such as silverlight, svg, js, jquery, css etc. I know alot about computers, probably everything lol.
But that's just it really, there's loads more I don't know about than I do even after it being a job and more inportantly my passion, for so long. There's always something new to learn. I'm playing around with Unity 3d at the moment because I'm building a game. And I've had a whole new set of tools to play with :)
I don't know much about torrents yet tbh. I should probably read up about it. I know the underlying tech but not so much about trackers and seeding etc, I just let uTorrent take care of it.
I'm always happy to help with computer/programming stuff if I can, means I can go on about it lol
