trying to learn something new....360 and wii are mods.......would like to know the best way to create games from torrents and what disks I need to use etc??? any info would be appreciated as I am not much of a gamer so can anyone walk me through the process??

The best way would probably receive a different answer from different developers, depending on their experience and preference.
I'd suggest getting MS Visual Studio & XNA studio for a single environment to develop in.
You can get express version (free) of both or you could download commercial versions and use them. You would probably run into trouble though if you released a game built in a pirated commercial version.
Or there is Unity which is also an excellent game dev environment. The 2 available on KAT work perfectly. Search for Unity 3d. There's a few good video based tutorials here too.

PS. I forgot to say, that's all for xbox 360. I don't know what you'd use for the wii.
