Whats the max kb/s you've ever gotten downloading, any secrets?

I played around with Bittorrent 7.5 a few days ago and now my average DL speed is mid 700's, got any secrets or tips to make it even better?

I'm hitting 800-900kb/s on an "8mb" line. Uploads aren't anything to shout about, 100kb/s maybe.
Oh the joys of living in the British countryside. I would honestly pay double the price for BT Infinity or BE Unlimited if they would just install it.
Im using Vuze/Azureus, not having any problems that would warrant needing tips to boost speed.

besides throttle by ISP the only real tips are.. Higher ratio seed to leechers torrents..
and allow more users into your client i.e
utorrent > options > preferences > bandwidth > the 3 boxes on the bottom right place 200 in all 3 thats plenty...
and also make your upload speed unlimited... thats a common thing with folks to many users are tight and slows it all up..

my cpu is only a 2.0ghz single core with only 512mb ram. so dont think my pc is a gamer. it's an old dell optiplex gx400 with (2) 40gb hdd. not a fun pc to use. lol.

Downloading at 1.2 MB/s & Uploading at 100 kB/s
These figures are from my new ISP, the old one was about half as good but more expensive. My advice is to download at off peak times if you are struggling.
