I've used iTunes for years and have the family of iDevices, but I'm not absolutely loving the features of iTunes so much any more.

What do you use or recommend?

What I don't like about it is that it only recognises two audio file types, and clogs the system with unwanted and unnecessary crap :P

foobar2000 = Best sound quality you can find. Its developed from a dev that makes music creation software.

Aimp3 for Win, cmus for *nix.
Foobar2k is excellent too.

The best for music by far ( supports winamp plugins as well)

Inbuilt codecs thus gives VLC a run for its money, and honestly I even use it for video :) Only lacks a Media Library, but if you are able to get the right plugins, even thats not a problem :))
