Equilibrium.
I never remember seeing any kind of adverts for it. I never really even remenber hearing about it. I came across it when I was checking out some of Bale's other movies. Had very mixed reviews. It really reads like a flop. I mean it basically is a rehash of several great films rolled into one. So I didn't have real high hopes. Figured if it was really any good, surely it would be more popular. This is back before it found a following. But I really enjoy dystopian, Orwellian movies. fahrenheit 451,Logan's Run,1984,Brazil, Soylent Green, are all movies I love and will watch again and again. So I figured I would give it a shot.Well turns out it is right up there with those classics. It isn't a particularly unique film or story. But it is just an extremely enjoyable film to watch. The Box office and reviews for this film are terrible. But I dig Viking flicks and SciFi so I gave it a shot. It is a total blast to watch. I mean Vikings and a futuristic space man hunting an alien monster through Iron Age Scandinavia. What's not to love? lol Last edited by Wldsthrnboy6907, 9 months ago I'd have to say Kiss Kiss Bang Bang. Never even saw preview watched it on cable, was surprised to see Val Kilmer (damn you oprah!!!!!!) and Robert Downey Jr. in it. Turned out to be f*cking hilarious, actually left house immediately (1 am) to go buy a copy. Turned out to be one of my all time favorite movies, & nobody has ever heard of it despite the big names and great acting.

Soylent Green is still eerie movie even nowadays. Even be spoiled with CGI. "ITS PEOPLE GOD DAMMIT!!!!!"
