Description

Based on Jeff Lindsay's novel "Darkly Dreaming Dexter," this new crime thriller tells the story of a strange man named Dexter Morgan. Good copy.
Just when you think the entertainment industry can't come up with any new ideas for gratuitous violence . . . along comes "Dexter".
Positive
** Lots of fresh ideas that I haven't seen elsewhere;
** The ending is perfectly devised to make us want to watch the next episode.
Negative
** Wow. The cast of characters ranges from serious personality disorders to Dexter the Psychopathic Vigilante. If audiences want to see this stuff, something is very wrong with our society.
** The scene with the ice truck was CONTRIVED. I don't like contrived elements in a story; they reflect laziness by the writers.

Well everyone is different-different strokes fer different folks-if you can't get over your 'issues' then don't bother watching...I happen to idolize Dexter-
