This upload replaces the corrupted one, which unfortunately was uploaded by a few.A funny series from the 1960's starring the incorrigible Sid James, the scariest woman on earth Peggy Mount and the always confused John LeMesurier.

Perhaps it should have been titled "The Good the Bad and the Inept". Don't go looking for poignant social commentary with this show, it is no more than the three main leads doing what they do best. Sid as the scoundrel, Peggy as the Plantagenet and stereotypical ruler of the house with LeMesurier playing himself as he did in so many wonderful shows.

It's escapism and silly at that, but it is also great fun with some solid laughs along the way.

Sid and Gabriel discover that their regular train to London has been cancelled, they set out to prove to British Rail the error of their ways .
