un bon film sur ce que les maisons close été en train de devenir vers la fin du 19éme siécle, comment le pouvoir en place voulait contrôler diriger et taxer les établissements en place, descente au paradis ou en enfer selon le moment du film, d'ailleurs c'est sans fioritures et chichi...tout au naturel, les actrices jouent juste et vrai, un film poignant et trés bien réalisé.
