Help.. I think I've done everything folks mentioned below... I downloaded, burnt image to DVD-R, and my PowerBook recognizes, launches the install screen, tells me to reboot, then i just get a flashing mac face and folder... Did the same process, but extracted files out of the image and reburned.. same thing...
Any ideas?

Worked well. I was running linux on my iBook G4 and it got old.I renamed the file from .toast to .iso and opened it in K3B in Linux. It told me it wasn't a 'valid image' but I selected plain disk image and it burned and it booted great on my iBook G4. Just held down the C button. Although I did have to reformat my HD to Mac Extended for it to see my HD. No Trackpad, but i'll see if i can fix that later.

Hi, totally new to this, bought an old G5 Imac PPC but have no disks. Would this be the install disk used at the time?

Just downloaded the file, burned it twice on 2 dvds with toast and Disk Utility,
(verified and OK) but same result: during installation it stops because of issued during DVD verification... Anyone here got the same problem?
Thanks a lot
S.

Works Great! Installed on 350 mhz iMac G3.
To burn to DVD:
1) Open 'Disk Utility'
2) Select your CD burner from the left hand side
3) Click the 'Burn' button at the top
4) Search for this torrent. (Burn the .toast file straight.)
5) Click 'Open' then click 'Burn'
6) Done!
To boot from DVD for clean install or upgrade:
1) Insert DVD
2) Shutdown computer
3) Hold down the 'Option' key on your keyboard
4) Turn on computer while still holding down 'Option'
4) When prompted to select between your Macintosh HD and DVD select the Installation DVD. (Let go of the 'Option' key now...)
5 Done!
Thumbs up is this works and so that others can see it!
