DO THIS:
1. Launch the MacKeeper program once. It will show you a button at bottom left of screen telling you that 15 days of the trial is left. Now quit MacKeeper.
2. Block the program as stated here using Little Snitch.
Hostname http://www.zeobit.com (IP address 64.15.138.185)
3. Launch the authorizer by double-clicking it. You will notice in the Terminal window that the authorizer gives you authorization for exactly one year from the date it is launched.
4. Launch MacKeeper. You will see that the button on the bottom left of screen has now disappeared Ö
5. Keep your eyes open for MacKeeper updating itself on launch. If it does, the button may re-appear. When that happens, run the authorizer again and repeat the process. (There may come a time when this fails to work, and I donít expect it to be long).
6. In fact there is a small program called 'Helper.app' in the Content/Resources folder of the MacKeeper.app bundle, and this one checks for updates and auto-update the app if needed.
At launch of MacKeeper, Little Snitch did pop warning with the Helper.app whitch wants to call the dev for updates, so you need to DENIE it FOREVER, and the program remains registered.
MacKeeper.app also calls home to check for account at zeobit site, and you should also DENIE it FOREVER with Little Snitch.
