Description

This is Mumpsy's first released album. It was released in 2005 on Post*Records and only 500 CD's were made available. This album has been out of print for over a year now and it is a very rare treasure. Mumpsy has been compared in recent press to: Maritime, Dr. Dog, Black Kids, The Walkmen, Tres Bien, The Shins, Belle and Sebastian, Of Montreal and Beulah. This early lo-fi album is a collection of home recordings mainly being performed by: Jeff Ilgenfritz who is the front man for this outfit. The album when released was compared heavily to The Mountain Goats, Neutral Milk Hotel, and Modest Mouse. Its lo-fi garagy, folky, poppy. A must for any indie-collector.
