Description
This is "NOVASTORM", a 12 year old MS-DOS game for PC compatibles. The reason I post this here is that there are apparently many fans of old games who always wanted to have this but never found it anywhere - "Novastorm" is indeed rather hard to get these days. It already was hard to get back in 1994 ...
So the *.rar file here contains the ISO image that I created using the "dd" command on Linux, using my original "Novastorm" CD-ROM. This game runs in 320 x 200 8bit VGA mode (256 colors) and it supports Soundblaster cards. If you want to run this game on a modern computer I suggest you use something like "VMware" or "dosbox" (Google is your friend). I tested this myself with "dosbox" on Linux and it works perfectly. Just make sure you check the keyboard settings (press CTRL+F1 inside "dosbox") to really make sure every key produces the output it's supposed to produce, and make sure you increase the CPU cycles (press CTRL+F12) up to 8500 or 9000 cycles, or else the game will be horribly slow and choppy. With all the correct settings in place the game is still entertaining after 12 years, even though graphics look awfully old :) TPB style detailed infos about this torrent: Content ...........
