Een schip met Vikingen strandt in Noord-Amerika en plundert op brute wijze een indianendorp. In de chaos laten de Vikingen één van hun kinderen achter. De indianen besluiten dat de jongen niet verantwoordelijk gesteld kan worden voor de daden van zijn volk en ze besluiten hem in hun midden op te nemen. De jongen groeit op tussen twee werelden en heeft moeite om vast te houden aan zijn oude Viking-identiteit. Dan, jaren later, keren de Vikingen terug om opnieuw dood en verderf te zaaien.
