Episode 23 - Fear and the Phantoms (08/04/2008)

Late night in the loft, Lily and her friend, Gabby, have a dance session. Gabby feels that the routine is too hard. Lily tries to encourage her, but all attempts fail. Master Phant had ordered Lily to train Gabby. R.J. calls Lily for a meeting. Dai Shi searches for Jellica, who prepares for the ceremony. Jellica uses the Crystal Eyes to revive the three Phantom Generals. She orders them to destroy Dai Shi. Jellica leads the Phantom Beasts to Dai Shi's Lair. She taunts Dai Shi for a moment. The General destroy Jellica and bring forth the Phantom Warriors. The warriors present their power, Rin Sin. They want Dai Shi to be the Phantom Beast King. If they had joined Dai Shi in the past, they would've been successful. Dai Shi orders the Warriors to bring the three Masters to gain their trust.

Master Swoop trains peacefully, until one of the General captures him. Lily reports to Master Phant about Gabby. She feels that she isn't the right coach for her. Master Phant tells Lily about Gabby's past. Lily feels more comfort to train Gabby. Theo arrives at the Training Grounds and is unable to find Master Swoop. Back at the Loft, Lily continues to train Gabby. The training goes well yet Gabby doesn't feel ready. Lily tells Gabby about her past to help Gabby gain confidence. Casey calls Lily to battle. She leaves with final words for Gabby. Theo reports back to the Rangers. Lily heads back to Master Phant's home. R.J. meets up with his dad. Finn warns R.J. about the Crystal Eyes. R.J. is called back to battle. The second General captures Master Finn. In the city, the Rangers face off against the Phantom Beast. He introduces himself and gives the Rangers a beating with his Sonic Attack.

Lily returns to Master Phant's home to find Master Phant being attack by the General. Lily morphs into action and fights the General. Master Phant joins the battle. The two warriors use their Maces against the General. Yellow Ranger powers up to Jungle Master Mode. The General is too powerful for Yellow Ranger and escapes with Master Phant. The Rangers continue to fight against the Beast. Yellow Ranger heads to the city and joins the fight. The Rangers work together to fight the Beast. Gabby arrives at the Competition and awaits Lily. The Phantom Beast grows and the Rangers summon the Jungle Master Megazord, Wolf Pride Megazord, and Rhino Steel Zord: Warrior Mode. Camille monitors the fight. The Beast is too tough for the Megazord. The Rangers form the Jungle Master Megazord with Elephant Power. The General joins the battle. Gabby heads to the stage. The General uses the Rin Sin to defeat the Rangers.

Lily arrives at the Competition to apologize. Gabby shows off her second place trophy. She thanks Lily for the training. The Rinshis tie up the Masters. Dai Shi places the Crystal Eyes in front of the Masters. Master Swoop tries to convince Jarrod to stop. The Generals activate the Crystals. The Rangers regroup to the city. A blast hits the Rangers to the ground. Three new Rangers make the scene: Shark, Elephant, and Bat. The evil Rangers walk towards the Rangers.
