With this (client)patch you are be able to play on public servers.

No authentification check - that means the game will send no data (eg. cdkey,
clantag or nickname) will be send to id Software.

If the game hangs on connect don't worry - that's normal ;-)

Install Notes:

1. UnRAR.
2. Copy the quake4.exe into game dir.
3. Play.
