Description

La trama de "Redacted" gira entorno a la violación de una adolescente iraquí y el asesinato de toda su familia por un grupo de soldados estadounidenses. Hecho real que sucedió en la localidad iraquí de Mahmudiya, en marzo de 2006. Como ya hizo hace dos décadas con "Corazones de hierro", en la que narraba las atrocidades cometidas en Vietnam; De Palma, apuesta de nuevo por un cine comprometido en el que denuncia, además de los excesos cometidos por los soldados, la censura de los medios de comunicación norteamericanos sobre el conflicto bélico.
