Great quality audio and video. You can skip Degeneration if you're just concerned with the live action film Resident Evil universe, as the CGI films take place in the video game universe. But if you do watch it, Degeneration was pretty good as well.
Also, if you're watching the films, remember that Afterlife (2010) is out as well and Retribution (2012) is coming out on DVD/Blu-ray soon.
