This is from an over-the-air broadcast 05/20/06 of Saturday Night Live (SNL), re-encoded from true HDTV 1080i format. Kevin Spacey is the SNL host. Nelly Furtado also performs well as the musical guest.



The 1080i video was reduced to 720x480p, and encoded 16:9 at 4000bps for NTSC DVDR. Complete with 5.1 dolby digital sound. While not as detailed as the original, the picture is excellent, and the audio is very good. It is a direct copy from the HDTV TS.



SNL is much better to watch this way. The commercials have been edited out. Watch SNL on DVD any time in the comfort of your living room. Enjoy!
