[SubMe Raw] Pretty Cure Splash Star - Episodes 1-49 (640x480 h264 AAC MKV)

This is a transcode of wmv dvd rips. The originals can be found here:

The purpose of this transcode is to:



a. Reduce the overall size to a reasonable level. From 16g to a little over 8g. Approximately half the original, while keeping most of the quality. As such, it can now be archived on 2 dvd's.



b. Reproduce it in a proper, widely accepted format (I hate wmv's).



and finally...



c. As per the name [SubMe Raw], hopefully inspire a little interest in some bored tl's out there. Maybe someone will finish this unwanted bastard child of the "Pretty Cure" lineup. [MFTGX] had subbed up to episode 23 (hard subbed avi's 1-17 and soft subbed mkv's 18-23), but dropped at that point. This is basically a finished product. All it needs is ... well, you know.



* A couple more notes (sorry if this is turning into a blog):



- There are a few minor video glitches in several of the episodes. These were present in the source material and couldn't be helped. If I had access to the original dvd's, I could have done a little better. But again, these few flaws are very insignificant.



- I Am including the [MFTGX] soft subs for 18-23 separately. If you wish, just mux them together with the proper episodes (use MKVtoolnix, great GUI).



- When I first saw this show, I was like wtf?!? This is a carbon copy of the original. I dropped it early ... then picked it back up. It improved and gained it's own identity by the teens, introducing a couple of characters I liked. Even though I can barely understand a few words in Japanese, I watched all the raws. Something I very rarely do. Maybe I'm prejudice because I like magical girl shows (sue me), but give it a shot.
