The All-American Rejects are back and have set November 18th to release When The World Comes Down, the follow up release to the double-platinum, Move Along that featured the smash hits “Move Along,” “Dirty Little Secret” and “It Ends Tonight.” The band has just unveiled the first single, “Gives You Hell,” from the new record, and in true Rejects fashion, the track is undeniably catchy with an anthemic chorus that will be sure to send the band back atop the charts.

"Gives You Hell" is the first single from The All-American Rejects' 2008 album, When the World Comes Down. It was first streamed on The All-American Rejects website on September 21 at 12:01 AM. It was released as a digital song on September 30, 2008, debuting at #74 on the Hot Digital Songs chart. On October 7, it was officially released to Top 40 Radio. It has currently peaked at #48 on the Billboard Pop 100. The video was released on Yahoo! Music on November 7, 2008.

The video is different from the Rejects past videos. Tyson plays two roles in this video. He plays a nerd Tyson and a rocker Tyson. The two are neighbors who hate each other. One keeps one up during the day while the other keeps one up during the night.The two continue this until the end of the video when the two switch homes, girlfriends, and lifestyles.
