PLOT:
Historia Ireny Sendler (Anna Paquin), która podczas II wojny światowej wraz z grupą współpracowników uratowała ponad 2.5 tysiąca żydowskich dzieci, wywożąc je z warszawskiego getta. Maluchy umieszczone zostały w polskich rodzinach, sierocińcach i klasztorach. Prawdziwa tożsamość uratowanych była przez IrenÄ™ systematycznie odnotowywana na maleńkich karteczkach ukrytych w słoiku zakopanym w ogrodzie. W 1943 roku bohaterka została aresztowana przez gestapo i skazana na śmierć, ale dziÄ™ki wysokiemu okupowi zapłaconemu przez "ŻegotÄ™" wyrok wykonano tylko na papierze.
