hey masteraugment, I also did the same but ScummVM can't find the folder...which folder need to search...can anyone give an idea???
For some reason, I got a lot of identical .rar files in the Island folder. I unzipped, but ScummVM can't find the folder... what do I do?
Works quite nicely. Here's a short tutorial because this isn't a normal game installation.
- First install scummvmwin32
- Go into "The Curse Of Monkey Island (1997)"> Unzip the one .rar file in the folder.
- The new "Monkey3" folder can be placed anywhere you can easily access.
- Run ScummVM which is installed earlier and ignore the messages.
- Select "Add Game" and find the folder. Usually in the C Drive, you would have to hunt for it depending on where you placed it and just select the folder and enter "Choose"
- Enjoy your game!
