not a trojan. cracks for no cd scan as a trojan by most security software.
You have to 'mount' the disc to a virtual drive, using a program like 'Daemon tools' or 'Alcohol 120%' for example. The file types are basically images of the CD/DVD, and these programs make a fake (virtual) drive where these CD images can be loaded from. Then you copy and replace the 'No CD' crack, named 'Oblivion' in this case, in to the installed directory in place of the 'Oblivion' file already there. If you are a newbie, I suggest you look up these terms and programs, a little research wouldn't do you any harm!

help please :S monsterrain thanks for posting guide as it helped so much done everything it said on the guide so i install second disk and plugins click on oblivion icon and pressed play on menu but its displaying insert disk 1, am i doin something really stupit and just not noticing it, please help
This torrent is bullshit. CRC error at the end of instalation. Not wotrth of downloading. I just waste my time.
could'nt get it to work due to the yasu thing i did'nt understand, but i know the download is just fine :)
Looked up torrent on Isohunt and found a solution to the Securom issue:
"Second disk told me "please insert an original disk and not a backup disk." Went into Daemon tools preferences and then advanced tab and checked "SafeDisk" "SecuROM" and "LaserLock" and it worked and installed flawlessly. Going to test the game before going to bed.

I'm Installing now and haven't received any secuROM message, I think this definitely fixes the problem.
WOW i get a retarded little error when in game whenever text shows up this annoying loud fucking static noise comes up...ha ha im laughing my ass off at that,is there a fix for this,or am i really going to have to say "don't waste your time on this one"?
urgh... The install was a big hassle. Buuuut once it got working, it worked =P.

Here's how I did it with Vista, based on the comments already posted here:
1) Open the "Tools" folder. Run and install "d"(Daemon tools) if you don't already have Daemon tools 4.0 or higher, or PowerISO.
2) In the "Tools" folder, extract the "YASU_1-4-7080" file, and then extract the "YASU.EXE" file.
###You may receive a msg telling you that you have to copy to and run from the Daemon Tools directory. Right-click on the YAHU.EXE file that you had extracted, and choose "copy". Then right-click your start menu,>explore>computer>local disk>program files>and open the folder named "Daemon Tools". Right-click the blank space below the file names, and choose "paste". Now run YAHU from where you just pasted it. If it still doesn't work, or you don't have the folder named "DAemon TOOLS", you may want to install the Daemon program that came with this download in the "tools" folder. When you get YAHU to run, select "cloak", and minimize it###
3) You need to either burn to disc the MDS file located in the "Disc 1" folder, or mount it using Daemon or PowerISO. If you mount it, you may have to then use the explore>computer>double-click the Oblivion GOTY file method. It should now walk you through the install.
4) Repeat this with the file in the "Disc 2" folder. You may receive error msgs, as I did. I hit "retry", and it worked the second time with all but the last of these msgs. Tis one I chose to "ignore".
I had to restart my cpu a few times, and repeat the "run YAHU from the Daemon Tools folder/mount/burn" method multiple times, but it eventually took and both discs installed.
5) Use the copy/paste method by moving the Oblivion.exe file in the "No DVD" folder to your computer>local disk>Program files>Bethesda softworks>oblivion folder, and replace the original one.
You should now be good to go and install the plugins.
I'm sure I'm missing something, as simple and concise as I tried to explain it, so feel free to ask any questions and I'll do my best to help.
