Awesome Film! Can't say if it's loyal to the book as I haven't read it, nonetheless a worthy watch.
DVD/BluRay/Digital Release August 18th. Maybe a RG will be lucky enough to release it a few weeks before that.wink

I think the book is better than the movie. in the book you get to feel the relationship between Katniss and Rue, like: the reason that she likes her so much is because she's so young and because she remind her of her little sister Prim. And her realationship between peeta, like: the reason that she kisses him is because she thinks that will help them get more sponsors. (-:

I love the books and I loved this movie. The casting was spot on in my mind, especially with Cesar Flickerman and Effie Lou. I thought the direction was excellent, the effect, stunts and scenery, and set gorgeous. This basically follows the book, except for some minor unimportant details... 10/10
