Theory of A Deadman are back with their third album and this one may just be the best one yet! The album, entitled Scars & Souvenirs contains a healthy mix of heavy rocker songs, radio-friendly mainstream songs and a couple slow ballads. Historically, Theory have been consistent in each of their albums throwing in a little bit of everything with their style, so this came with no surprise that they stuck to what was working for the band.
Scars & Souvenirs, starts off with a bang but ends with a couple mediocre songs. Overall a fun album and definitely worth listening to. In the end this is a great step for Theory and the album that they needed to make. Scars compliments their first two efforts, Theory of A Deadman and Gasoline, perfectly. Hopefully this album propels them in the mainstream rock scene to the respects of staples such as Nickelback, 3 Doors Down and Hinder.
