Αθήνα, Δεκαπενταύγουστος 2005. Μέσα σε ένα απόγευμα, γνωρίζουμε μερικούς ανθρώπους, που το μόνο τους πρόβλημα, είναι η αναζήτηση ουσιών. Παράνομων ουσιών. Λόγω της ημέρας υπάρχει έλλειψη.
Ο Τσίου, πρωταγωνιστής της ιστορίας μας, είναι ηρωινομανής. Ψάχνεται να βρει και μπλέκει μέσω της αδελφής του Στέλλας και του μαφιόζου άντρα της, του Στέλιου, αρκετούς ανθρώπους. Άλλους κοκαϊνομανείς, σαν τον Νώντα, και τον Γιάννη, που διεκδικούν την Τζένη και άλλους που δεν έχουν σχέση με ουσίες όπως τον Τάκο τον Νικήτα και τον Μπίλ, που απλά δουλεύουν για τον μαφιόζο και πρέπει να βρουν ηρωίνη επειδή τους διέταξε. Ο Τάκος βάζει τον Νώντα να του βρει υπό πίεση, και αυτός βάζει με δόλο τον Τσίου να βρει για τον ίδιο, χωρίς να το ξέρει βέβαια.
Τα πράγματα μπερδεύονται αρκετά, και η περιπλάνηση στο κέντρο της Αθήνας συνεχίζεται για την πολυπόθητη δόση.
