Note On Quality: The first season is in Black & White. This is not an error in the encoding, but the way the series was filmed. Also, many of the first season episodes appear a bit blurry. This is also a fault in the original copy, and not a problem with the encoding.

During what was supposed to be a three-hour tour, the S.S. Minnow is shipwrecked on an uncharted tropical island following a typhoon. The seven castaways include the Minnow's blustery captain, his bumbling first mate Gilligan, a millionaire couple named the Howells, curvaceous movie star Ginger Grant, sexy farm girl Mary Ann Summers, and a science professor known as the Professor. Despite their dire situation, the castaways managed to survive on a diet made up of fish and coconut cream pie, and were aided by their trusty transistor radio and a seemingly never-ending parade of guest stars who managed to drop by their "deserted" island (including a big game hunter, a movie producer, a mad scientist, a rock band, Russian cosmonauts, foreign spies and a jungle boy), yet never managed to bring the castaways to safety.

Note to Newbies: After you have installed XviD, most media players should play these files just fine. XviD is a free open-source codec, and appears to be the adopted standard for video compression on file sharing networks -- which is why I use it. The XviD codec is included in the CCCP Codec pack that I listed above, but there are many codec packs which include XviD. You can also find a stand-alone installer with very little effort. My favorite media player is VLC (http://www.videolan.org), which has a built-in XviD codec. VLC is also open-source and free to download.
