I've never gotten any message from my internet provider {also Time Warner, by the way}, at least not yet. Of course, while I've downloaded tons of torrents, I haven't yet downloaded any movies, but I did download the Zumba workout and a few other exercise videos recently. Try installing proXPN to change your IP address. When I first started downloading torrents about 6-7 months ago, many people recommended setting up a VPN or using a service like proXPN that changes your IP address and thus, protects your downloading activities. I use the free version of proXPN and I've noticed absolutely no problems with download speed. It can also be set up so that it automatically signs in and sits in your system tray. I have mine set up that way so I don't ever have to worry about whether or not it's working before I try to download anything. You can go to proxpn.com or google "proXPN". There are numerous services like this you can use and many are free, which was a big plus to me as a single mom watching her budget. Good luck.
