I almost stepped on a snake once. I was around 6-7 years old, had no clue what kind of snake it was. I remember that it was just lying there and for some reason my body just reacted on its own, my leg was left hanging in the air. It took me a while to realize that there was a snake beneath me, when I did realize that I went running to my dad with my heart pumping extremely fast.
