Description
1. On a windows machine or in a VM or Crossover (it's on the site too), run the included keygen.
2. It will give you a License ID (That's the string that looks like Lxxxx-xxx), and when you run Mathematica for the first time, it will give you a MathID, a long sequence of characters. Input that in to the keygen and press generate, which will make a password. Put that in, and it will license and then you are SET. 3. Enjoy! No need to block with Little Snitch. Otherwise, the keygen won't work because the computer will lack the file named mfc100u.dll.
1. Mount Mathematica_8.0.1_WIN with a software like Daemmon tools or PowerISO
2. Install Mathematica by right clicking the mounted drice and install.
3. Open Wolfram Mathematica 8. The activation window will appear. Choose "other ways to activate." Then, click "manual activation." The manual-activation window showing the Math ID will appear. Copy the Math ID.
4. Double-click Mathematica_8_kg.exe (from the link above) to crack the program. Replace the Math ID in this window with the Math ID from the manual-activation window in step 3. Click "Save Math Pass" to create the file named mathpass. Then, copy the mathpass to Program FilesWolfram ResearchMathematica8.0ConfigurationLicensing.
5. Copy the activation key and the password
to the manual-activation window showing the Math ID in step 3.
6. Finally, activate the program. However, don't register.

- Go to "Other activation methods"
- Choose Manual activation
- Copy and paste your Math ID into the 1st line of the keygen and click generate
- Copy your licence key (2nd box of the keygen) and paste it into the activation code field in mathematica
- Copy your generated password (3rd box of the keygen) and paste it into the password field in Mathematica.
- Click "Activate" and you're done !
